Acupuncture
Acupuncture is the ancient Chinese practice of inserting fine needles into specific points on the body along meridians through which the qi (or body’s energy) flows. It has been used for thousands of years and is very effective for all ailments and also for all kinds of muscular skeletal problems. It works quickly compared to most other methods and will blend in with herbal medicine, naturopathy or medicinal drugs. At this Clinic we use disposable stainless steel needles and alcohol swabs for all treatments.

Naturopathy
Naturopathy is a holistic system, meaning that naturopaths strive to find the cause of disease by understanding the patient as a totality of body, mind, and spirit. Most naturopaths use a variety of therapies and techniques such as Diet & Nutrition, Herbal medicine, Vitamin & Mineral supplementation & Homeopathy.
There are two areas of focus in naturopathy: one is supporting the body's own healing abilities, and the other is empowering individuals to make lifestyle changes necessary for the best possible health. Herbal medicine has been used for centuries and over the years it has become Nature’s wonderful tool to help us fight both acute and chronic sickness.
Over recent years Chinese herbal medicine has become very popular, but every culture has its own history of herbal medicine and in many instances the herbs used are the same – they just get called a different name.
